I first learned to play bridge as a teenager in France. My bridge was limited to playing in a social setting with uncles, aunts and cousins in Bordeaux.

Then about about 25 years later, in 2007, my friend Mark introduced me to contract bridge.

My playing skills are still just at the beginner level. I play about twice a month at the Eastside Bridge Center in Redmond.

In addition to the Standard American bidding system, I also play the Precision Bidding System.
