wymypy
(Web Y Music Y Player in pYthon)
wymypy is a standalone webserver music player frontend for the marvellous MPD (The music player daemon). It's "like" phpmp2, but no needs of apache/php ! You only need to have python2.4 and MPD, of course ;-) ! It's a web based client powered with ajax and its own multithreaded httpserver in python, under the GPL2 licence.

INSTALL
- You'll need easy_install. It should be already installed in current distributions, under the setuptools library.
- open a console and run "easy_install wymypy"
- now, you can run wymypy by launching "wymypy"
- point your browser to http://localhost:8080 ... and play
- to learn more : run "wymypy -h"
- to configure : edit your ~/.wymypy file
